Two Opus awards for Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Orchestre Métropolitain
On January 28, 2007 at the 2005-2006 Opus Awards ceremony, the Conseil québécois de la musique presented two awards to Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Orchestre Métropolitain :

• Concert of the year, classical, romantic, post-romantic and impressionist music, for its concert Mahler grandiose (Symphony No.9) – September 30, 2005.
• Musical event of the year for Le week-end Beethoven (The nine symphonies) – October 18 to October 20 2005.
